The Minnesota Timberwolves have added Daishen Nix to their roster. NBA insiderShams Charania recently confirmed this development with a tweet, announcing that the 21-year-old point guard has signed a one-year deal with the T-Wolves.

After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, he initially found himself with the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2021 NBA Summer League.

His talent and dedication soon caught the attention of the Houston Rockets, leading to a deal with them on August 25, 2021. What began as a two-way contract evolved into a standard deal on February 15, 2022.

However, Nix’s path took a turn when he was waived by the Rockets on June 29, 2023. During his time with the Rockets, Nix averaged 4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 16 minutes per game.
