Anthony Edwards dominated ahead of the 2023 FIBA World Cup, leading Team USA’s 99-91 comeback victory over Germany in their final prep game in Abu Dhabi. The Minnesota Timberwolves star guard scored 34 points (11-of-21 FG, 4-of-8 3PT), with Tyrese Haliburton and Austin Reaves adding 16 points each off the bench.

Despite a strong team effort from Germany, they fell short against the NBA stars in the final quarter. Dennis Schroder had 16 points and 10 assists, Franz Wagner scored 17 points with 10 rebounds, and Daniel Theis contributed 12 points and 13 rebounds.
